💥 🚙 A car crashed into the King Soopers in Colorado Springs at the Uintah Gardens Shopping Center around 4:12 p.m., injuring six people. All six with minor injuries were transported to local hospitals.
First responders from the Colorado Springs Fire Department and the Colorado Springs Police Department treated the scene, with the police noting that the driver cooperated and that the crash appears to have been an accident.
🍺A new venue called The Brit Pub has opened in downtown Colorado Springs right next to Weidner Field, giving patrons a view of the pitch while offering a distinctively British pub atmosphere. Inside you’ll find wood-heavy décor, a London-style red phone booth entry, and beer selections like Guinness and Kilkenny served as imperial pints.
🐟 A new seafood spot called Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls is opening in Colorado Springs near the Marketplace at Flying Horse on Roller Coaster Road, close to the recently opened King Soopers.
The restaurant chain, originally from the Northeast, will feature lobster rolls, shrimp rolls and other seafood dishes, and will even include a drive-thru. It will mark the chain’s second Colorado location.

🎨 Local Artist Spotlight
Anton is a local freelance graphic designer, illustrator and video editor who works primarily in digital, and loves to do side art/cartoons that are nonsensical, surreal, or silly. Professionally, he's recently done event poster illustrations for all the major United States Golf Association tournaments, including the recent golf tournament held at The Broadmoor here in Colorado Springs.
Anton spends his other free time learning how to paint Warhammer figurines, jamming on drums with friends, spending time with his dog, the occasional videogame and watching hilariously bad horror movies on Tubi. He also volunteers for a Meetup group called Colorado Art Trekkers, and invites any artist to come hang out and draw with the group!
