Welcome to the Bubbly Bunny Gamers Café!
Born from a shared love of good drinks, great games, and even better company, the Bubbly Bunny began as a dream between friends who wanted to create a space where everyone could feel at home. What started as a simple idea—=a cozy place to sip milk tea and dive into your favorite games—has grown into a lively community built on creativity, laughter, and connection. Whether you’re here to challenge friends to a match, discover a new favorite drink, or just unwind, we’re so glad to have you as part of our story. As we hop into the future, expect more themed events, new menu creations, and exciting ways to play and connect. The best is yet to come, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

🏔️ What’s New in the 719
🍿🎥 Here’s a big W for the 719! Colorado Springs is getting its own 70mm IMAX film projector at the Cinemark Carefree Circle. That’s the real-deal film format used for epic releases like Oppenheimer and Dunkirk, and it’ll make its debut before Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey hits theaters in July 2026. Only about 30 theaters in the world have one of these projectors, and this will be the only active 70mm IMAX in Colorado.
⚾ The Rocky Mountain Vibes are officially leaving Colorado Springs, team owner D.G. Elmore announced this week. The decision comes after ongoing instability in the Pioneer League, which the Vibes have been part of since 2021. Elmore pointed to several challenges, including the recent folding of the Northern Colorado Owlz and the relocation of the Grand Junction Jackalopes, saying these changes made it increasingly difficult to keep operating in the Springs.
The Vibes, who replaced the longtime Colorado Springs Sky Sox franchise after it moved to Texas, have been a summer staple for local baseball fans at UCHealth Park. Their departure marks the end of professional baseball in the city—for now—though Elmore expressed hope that another team or league could eventually bring the sport back.
☕ A brand-new spot is stirring up downtown Colorado Springs’ dining scene: Totem, originally from Mazatlán, Mexico, is setting up shop in the former food hall at 315 E. Pikes Peak Ave. The concept brings together Latin and Mexican-inspired comfort food, specialty coffee, and craft cocktails, all wrapped in warm, community-focused vibes.

🎨 Local Artist Spotlight

Mike is a local Colorado Springs photographer, focusing mostly on landscape and nature but also dabbling in automotive scenes as well. The passion for photography ride from wanting to capture moments of other hobbies, ranging from hiking to racing to traveling and spending time with his family.
Originally digital cameras allowed him to find his style without being locked into a specific look, but over the past year he has taken a liking to various film cameras. He is also starting a Cameras and Brews meetup in Colorado Springs! The first event will be from 7:30pm-9pm on Friday, November 7th at Lost Friend Brewing Company. You can find more of his work and contact him on Instagram @mjeffv2.
🙏Thank you!
Thanks for tuning in everyone, hope you have a great time checking out some of these events. I’ll see you back here next week with more of Colorado Springs’ best happenings.
