Step into the decadent, crumbling world of 1920s Weimar Germany as Theatreworks transforms the Dusty Loo Bon Vivant Theater into an intimate cabaret club. The Tony Award-winning musical Cabaret—which Theatreworks first staged in 1987—returns in a daring new production that blurs the line between audience and performance, reveling in the musical’s raw energy, haunting beauty, and chilling relevance. This Kander and Ebb classic introduced the world to famous characters like the enigmatic Emcee and mercurial Sally Bowles, and we’re delighted to welcome them back to the Theatreworks stage.
